My name is Sifa, and I am spending a year out before University in order to discover what God’s plans for my future are. This will involve travelling and prayer. I am writing this blog to help you keep up to date with what’s happening.

For the first half of the year, until Christmas, I am working at the Kathmandu International Study Centre (KISC) as a teaching assistant and student support worker for Science and Maths.

I love reading and writing stories, hence the ‘what I am reading’ widget and occasional book post! My current ‘dream-job’ is to be an author, but let’s see what this year tells me about what I should be doing with my time.

If I’m not reading or writing (or working!), you’ll probably find me playing or coaching netball. For those of you who don’t know, Netball is the English version of basketball, without dribbling or ‘slam-dunking’, that is primarily played by women and girls. It’s great fun and very sociable. I am a Level-Two Coach, hoping to gain a C-Level Umpire Award eventually. As such, I am excited at the prospect of bringing the game to KISC and working with Nepal Netball.
